Hi everyone
I’m still here. I have actually worked on several rooms since the last post that is apparently 4 years ago. Life happens but I still want to continue. Every so often I come back to trying to work on this, get disheartened when I can’t find a way to tell anyone about it. Do a bit of work and then go quiet again.
The one thing that stops me from working on this a lot more is the feeling of isolation when it comes to solo development. The saying “Build it and they will come” is very much not true. It should be “Build it and then go out and try and find people who want to come, tell them when it is, remind them closer to the time, offer an incentive and parking and maybe, just maybe they will come”.
The internet offers many things including communities to be involved with. I’m going to try much harder to reach out to people and find the people who are genuinely interested in what I’m doing. Hopefully they’ll be enough to give me a kick up the arse and get this moving again 🙂
So if you are interested in kicking me up the arse (yes I’m English) let me know 🙂
