Hi everyone

Well you might notice nothing has happen for a while. Don’t worry I’ve not abandoned it. Page One is something I’ve worked on for too long to give up now. But I will say that this last year has been, somewhat, a complete shit show.

Good things and bad things have gone on. I’m not sure if you’re aware where you are but here in the UK we are suffering from a global pandemic. It’s thrown a spanner into a lot works and during this time I also started a new job. It’s with a lovely company called MBD.limted in Leicester, UK https://www.mbd.limited/

They work in the arts and produce some really interesting content and I’m very happy to be part of the team. But as you can imagine it’s effected my ability to work on other project and to be honest with you and probably for many people all over the world. I just made sure I’ve done the bare minimum to get by. The isolation and uncertainty a lot of us are feeling, means that if we get the things we need to do done, feeding, watering and watching a lot of boxsets etc. Then we should be able to feel proud that we’ve manged to get through. If we haven’t managed that, as I imagine a lot of people find themselves in, well I feel we should be able to give ourselves a bit of a break and hope that we can find our way again in the future.

So well now we’re in a new year, 2022 and things have kicked off to a great start. I’m stuck in Toronto with Covid. So that’s good. I’m feeling fine and I thank having all the vaccines and boosters and support for that. I advice if you still concerned about the vaccine still get it, it turned what could be a horrible thing into a mild cold and of cause now I’m bullet proof and get flashes of future events when going to the toilet, which are nice side effects.

So what next. I’m going to get back on the horse and work to a new update for March. There have been some really interesting updates in my player Whirligig which I hope will allow me to introduce full spatial sound which I’m looking forward to implementing. So there will be an update to the Adventure Game Maker soon as well.

So in conclusion. I’ve not gone. Not quite yet. Keep an eye out for updates and fingers crossed, once I’ve made it back to my flat in Leicester, UK I can get to finishing game, well the first chapter at least.
